Charlotte Newcombe Foundation Challenge
One third of USciences undergraduate students are the first in their families to attend college. Most of them rely on grants, scholarships, support from relatives, loans, and employment to pay for their education expenses.
The Charlotte W. Newcombe Foundation awarded USciences a $50,000 challenge grant in recognition of the services the University provides for first-generation students and “to mitigate some of their unmet financial needs.”
A challenge grant requires USciences to fundraise $50,000 on our own before we can access the $50,000 the Charlotte Newcombe Foundation provided. If we don't fundraise the $50k by 06/01/2022 we literally won't receive the funding. Thank you for helping us towards our goal of $50,000! We know with support from donors like you, we can get there and unlock all the funding for our first generation students at USciences.
