The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry provides students a supportive community for learning and gaining hands-on experience in every field of modern chemistry. We have stellar faculty who mentor students very closely to help them take the next step on their journey to career success. Our undergraduate programs include a one of a kind pharmaceutical chemistry major and a bioinformatics minor, and our graduate program extend into nanotechnology and advance drug design. Our students excel after graduation in their chosen path, including becoming faculty themselves, doctors and even lawyers. Donate now to help our current students continue on their journey. The goal of new initiatives like Course Based Undergraduate Research Experiences is to expand research access to all students. Participating in undergraduate research promotes critical thinking and problem solving skills, essential skills for success as medical professionals or scientists. Your support helps us expand research access to all students.
Summer Research & Conference Travel Fund - Goal $3,000
Many of our students perform in-depth research over the summer alongside our faculty. When they have the opportunity to present results at conferences, they gain confidence and the drive to do more. Your support enables not only new discoveries but also a new generation of budding scientists.
