Society of Physics Students:

Unlike other science disciplines, physics provides the reasoning behind the wonders of the world we see in everyday life. Through physics, we understand not only the wonders of the world but its biggest problems and become equipped with the best tools to solve them. With generous support from donors such as yourself, we will be able to reach out to the youth of the area to show how cool physics can be and help build the next generation of scientists. Furthermore, these donations will be funneled to specifically target those who are underrepresented in STEM and help build more diversity throughout physics and STEM in general. In addition to our outreach to these communities, these funds will help allow us to attend conferences to report the results of our research and make the first step toward world changing discoveries physics can provide.

Fundraising Initiatives Below:

Student Conference Funds - Goal $1,000

This funding allows for out students to have the opportunity to attend regional and national conferences in which we will present our research. Your donations will help offset the costs of lodging, travel, registration and the entrance fee. By helping us present our research you will be allowing us to make our first step in our dram of creating life and world changing differences from our research.

STEM Outreach Funds - Goal $1,000

As a student run organization we focus on making a difference throughout the community to build an excitement for physics to younger students. Our outreach is centered around those of the underrepresented community and exposing them to the wonders and joy that physics can bring.
