Crowdfunding has finally made its way to University of the Sciences. Our very own online crowdfunding platform is here to help our students, faculty and staff members to achieve monetary goals for USciences based athletic programs, groups, programs and activities.
This all works just like a Kickstarter or GoFundMe but all those kinds of crowdfunding platforms either cost money or take a portion of the donations raised. Our USciences crowdfunding program is completely FREE, meaning 100% of the donations will go to where they were originally intended.

What is crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding is the practice of funding a project or venture by raising money from a large number of people, typically via the Internet.
Who can start a crowdfunding campaign and what can they crowdfund for?
Any USciences student, faculty or staff member may run a crowdfunding campaign. And they can raise funds for anything that benefits USciences.
Who runs the crowdfunding campaigns I see happening at USciences?
They are run by the people that are requesting the funds. Ex. If the USciences Basketball team has a crowdfunding campaign active, it was created and is being ran by the Basketball team.
How long does a typical crowdfunding campaign last?
Usually a crowdfunding campaign is active and able to accept donations online for a total of 14 days.
How do I make a gift towards a crowdfunding campaign?
Simply click on the "Give Now" button within any crowdfunding campaign and fill out the donation form.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes, every donation made to University of the Sciences is tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
Is there a minimum donation amount?
Yes, the minimum donation you can make towards any crowdfunding effort is $10.
Who can donate to a USciences crowdfunding campaign?
Everyone! We encourage faculty, staff, students, alumni, parents and our friends to get involved during our crowdfunding efforts. Our goal is to “give together." Through the collective efforts of the USciences community, we will be able to make a big impact to many worthy crowdfunding efforts.

To help make an even greater impact, please share the Crowdfunding page via email, social media, or text your friends and family the link to the crowdfunding campaign. Let them know you supported the cause and why they should as well.
